Hello?

Songs or song videos which seemed appropriate at the time, but actually weren't.

#1 - Lionel Richie - Hello.

The song is fine, nothing particularly odd going on at all. The music video, however features the story of Richie's character (a slightly creepy performing arts teacher) stalking a blind art student.  Lionel spends the entire video following her around and singing “Hellooooo…. Is it me you’re looking for?” which is a little unkind if you think about it.

So Lionel stalks her for the entire video until  finally she succumbs to Stockholm Syndrome and sculpts a likeness of his head.

When teachers try stuff like that these days, they wind up in court.
