Occulomency

I have been a slack tart.

OK,

I have been a bit of a slack tart haven't I. I have largely forsaken my beloved Occulomency in favour of these new flash social media sites like Friend-face and Jitter or whatever they call themselves.

But it's all false, they aren't my real friends. Not like the lovely folk who stop by my little cave on the periphery of reason.

So.what have I learned this year?

I've learned a lot about the Information Security Standard 27001 and how to implement it into a company's management systems.

More recently I've learned how not to do implement it. I think, over the next few weeks, I'll share this with you here. All names will be changed to protect the innocent, but i think the truth should be told, and tell it I will.

You lucky people.

 

It's nice to be back.

Ups and Downs

Well Christmas happened, with almost no input from Sir Cliff Richard, so that has to be a good thing.

Sir Cliff Richard, 268 year old ‘Peter Pan’ of pop has sold his soul to Mephistopheles in order to keep his warm leatherette face from disintegrating.

Lord Cliff has recently said in an interview with The Daily Mail (who else?) '….I don't want to lose my dignity. I know when I have sung badly and if it happens once or twice, I will recognise that and say to myself that this could be the last time.'

Insight? Nah……
