I read with interest Cam's blog (or not) on the subject of music on iPods. Now I have my iPod plugged in pretty much all of the time at work, which assists me in blocking out Napolean Dynamite, who is working in sector 7g at the moment.
Video wise, I have been enjoying QI, which I will burn this weekend and send to Goonellabah, as I believe it will be appreciated there. I am also enjoying Tiki Bar TV, which is very funny and has the bonus of Lala. Music wise, well I've gone a bit eclectic, so, according to iTunes my 10 most listened to albums are....
- One Way Ticket - The Darkness
- The Specials - The Specials
- Too Late to Cancel - Mitch Benn
- Permission to Land - The Darkness
- The Fun Boy Three - Fame
- The Best of Humphrey Lyttelton
- A Tonic for the Troops - Boomtown Rats
- Oasis - Whats the story? (Morning Glory)
- Pet Shop Boys - Disco
- Strange Behaviour - Duran Duran (yeah I know)
The Darkness predominates due to Alistair's love of the band, and I'm not kidding, he really does like them. He actually dances around, and falls over, a lot. Look don't get me wrong, I like them too, they'd hit the top ten list, just not that high up.
I am still mired in my musical tastes of 20 odd years ago however, and I am aware of this, and I have insight. I just don't give a dingo's kidneys.
I'd better say at this point how sad I am about Steve Irwin's death, this link takes you to the Tonight Show with Jay Leno's tribute to him.
The biggest news of this week for us, apart from getting my car back after some moron drove into the back of me at work, is that we'll be spending Christmas in Nottingham. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
