Spent part of new year's eve in the four bells at Woodthorpe, nice pub that had a school disco themed party going on, that indicated two things:

• To be female and wearing a school uniform in adult years, it is better to weigh less than an average sized killer whale.
• To be male and wearing a school uniform in adult years it is better to weigh less than an average sized killer whale.

Interestingly, the inhabitants of Woodborough did not heed the above advice, which was a brave choice.

So, a quiet New year. Let us hope that it continues that way.

Juliet is co-operating very nicely at the moment. Waking us up just once a night for a quick 25 minute feed and then sleeping 'til 7ish.

Things have settled into a nice routine. Garth arrived on Friday and is being a huge help with the elder Sontaron. The hatchling has been out to Indooroopilly  and a couple of cafes already and is proving manageable.

Started watching Lead Balloon with Jack Dee last night, after downloading it on Garth's recommendation. Very funny.

And I'd have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids....
